Spring 2026

Product Design

IDEA 160 has quickly become one of the most meaningful courses in my design journey, and I have loved every second of it. The class has introduced me to a wide range of tools, materials, and studio skills, including digital design, 3D printing, and working with wood, clay, and copper. More importantly, it has taught me how to think like a more resourceful and intentional designer by guiding me through the full design process, from concept and ideation to prototyping, final production, and presentation. This course has truly helped build my understanding of what it means to be a designer and the kind of design practice I want to pursue. I am excited to keep growing through this class and to update this post with the final version of my design portfolio, including my finished work and final project, a sound vessel.
